Vivid Imaginations will be holding a special 'Snozzle Saturday' after it was alerted to consumers' fruitless search for an ultra rare Series 5 Moshling.

Vivid picked up on the missing Snozzle Wobbleson figure after fans posted across Moshi Monsters fan sites that they were unable to find him in blind bags.

It was then discovered that a production scheduling error had meant the character missed being included in the first shipment launched in mid-January.

Vivid has apologised for the error and ensured fans that Snozzle figures were being bought to the country as soon as they could be produced. The character will now be available later this month.

The Snozzle Saturday swap day will be held across The Entertainer stores, enabling fans to swap an existing Moshling figure for a Snozzle, on March 16th.

Further events are being planned for stores in Scotland, Northern and Southern Ireland.

For those fans who can't get to a swap day, Vivid is setting up a system whereby they can be sent a Snozzle figure via the Vivid and Mind Candy customer services teams.

"As soon as we discovered that there was a delay in Snozzle arriving, we let fans know via social media to keep them informed of the situation," said Neil Bandtock, MD of Vivid UK. "Getting product into the hands of consumers is our first priority.

"So we've put together a way of facilitating this on a large scale at High Street level via Snozzle Saturday on March 16th in The Entertainer and other stores in Scotland, Northern and Southern Ireland.

"Regular shipments of Snozzle Wobbleson figures will be made during March. In the meantime we are keeping Moshi fans fully updated via the Mind Candy website, Facebook and Twitter."
