VIP tickets for consumer electronics event Gadget Show Live - which takes place during the Easter holidays - have now sold out, and remaining weekend tickets are going fast.

At time of writing, Exhibition and Super Theatre tickets are available to buy online, but are selling fast, with Saturday and Sunday entry very close to selling out.

Based on the popular Channel 5 TV programme, Gadget Show Live is the leading consumer tech event in the UK. It runs from April 3rd to 7th at the Birmingham NEC.

The Gadget Show Live Professional, which is aimed at the trade, will take place on April 2nd.

More than 200 companies will be exhibiting, including toy firms such as Bladez Toys and Flying Gadgets.

Battlefield Live is being introduced this year. Described as an 'authentic combat experience', it uses sophisticated gaming guns in the most realistic simulation short of joining the military.

Other areas will include the International Future Tech Zone, Inventors Village, Game Zone and Hub Theatre.

Meanwhile, in the Super Theatre, the programme's hosts Jason Bradbury and Pollyanna Woodward will deliver entertainment three times a day in the show's 4,500 set arena. The live performances will include presenter challenges, stunts, audience participation and the chance to win a selection of new gadgets.
