Brainstorm is backing Aqua Dragons with its largest ever product marketing spend.
The firm planned to market the new creature kits on TV in autumn, but due to strong trade response it has brought its activities forwards.
A heavyweight campaign will kick off this weekend on March 23rd, with an ad that will run throughout the school holidays.
TV channels running the ad will include CITV, Boomerang, Cartoon Network and Cartoonito in the UK, as well as iNick and iNicktoons in Ireland.
“Aqua Dragons is a very exciting brand for us, so we are backing it with the largest marketing spend we have ever dedicated to a product range,” said Nick Saunders, sales and marketing director.
“Already the selections are rolling in, and as the volumes grow, so will the marketing spend. The prices are good, the value is there and retailers should expect follow on sales on the refill packs of food and eggs.”
When asked about sales expectations, Saunders told ToyNews: “All I can say is that it will be a big number.”
