A Girl for all Time, the doll brand which aims to teach kids a history lesson while they play, has welcomed a new addition in Victorian girl Amelia.

Each A Girl for all Time doll comes with its own backstory which touches on historic events that broadly follow Key Stage 2 history, as taught in primary school. Amelia’s story was written by the two time BAFTA nominated screen writer and director Sandra Goldbacher.

Amelia, Your Victorian Girl joins the already released Matilda, Your Tudor Girl, launched in September 2011.

Amelia Your Victorian Girl and Matilda Your Tudor Girl come dressed in historically-inspired costume, period underwear and petticoat and is presented in her own sturdy carry case. Both have a guide retail price of £89.99.

Additional outfits and accessories are available at prices, ranging from £9.99 to £39.99.
