Florida Democrat, Bill Nelson, wrote in a letter Tuesday to Spin Toys CEO Mark Meyers explaining that the breach raises serious questions concerning how well the company protects the information it collects, particularly from children.

The letter included ten questions about the issue, including about the company’s security practices.

The letter became public knowledge when it was shared on Twitter by security researcher Troy Hunt, who exposed the breach in a blog post on Feb. 28.

The plush bears in question, which can receive and send voice messages between parents and their children, allegedly breached data of more than 800,000 user accounts.
