Lottie dolls will head to the US exclusively via distributor Schylling.
Arklu announced the signing of the new distribution agreement. The distribution company will begin shipping the London-based toy developer's dolls from June this year.
Founded by Ian Harkin and Lucie Follett in August 2012, Lottie has won 12 awards in the US and UK for its innovative design, including three Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Platinum Best Toy Awards. And it's now on sale in 14 countries.
Aimed at three to nine-year-olds, Arklu says the Lottie doll does not live up to gender stereotypes, while her body dimensions are devised to reflect the average proportions of a nine-year-old girl, promoting a heathier image that has helped the doll achieve its wide success.
Now Arklu is looking forward to taking that success to the States.
