An outdoor toy which has already been a big hit in the US is coming to the UK, after Elron Enterprises sealed a distribution deal.

The firm, which introduced PoweriZers to the UK, will distribute the OgoSport as early as next summer.

The game took two years to develop and includes two sports disks with mesh centres and a ball to bounce back and forth. Rick Goodwin, creator of the product, was inspired by another game where children bounced water balloons up and down on a blanket.

A travel edition is also available, which includes two 18-inch inflatable disks and is suitable for children as young as four.

Aron Topperman, managing director of Elron Enterprises, said: ”As soon as we saw OgoSport, we were excited by its prospects in the UK.

“Like many addictive games, it loos far more simple than it really is. Add to that the fact that it is so versatile, and what you have is a really attractive family game which is enjoyed by children and adults of all ages,” Topperman added.
