McDonald’s is set to replace its toys in its iconic Happy Meal with books.

From now until February 15th, more than 17 million books will be distributed via Happy Meals at the fast food outlet.

Four different books are up for grabs, including Paddington by Michael Bond, Clark the Shark Takes Heart by Bruce Hale, Happy Valentine’s Day, Mouse! by Laura Numeroff and Felicia Bond and Pete the Cat: Valentine’s Day Is Cool by Kimberly and James Dean.

Each paperback has been made to fit inside the small meals, which measure 4.5-inches by 5.5-inches.

According to the Los Angeles Times, McDonald’s has partnered with the non-profit organisaiton Reading is Fundamental, which will see the company donate 100,000 books.

This isn’t the first time the fast food giant has served up books instead of toys, as the company gave out paperbacks in 2013 and 2015.
