US makes way for Noddy

Noddy license owner Chorion has agreed a deal with US brand management company FUNimation Productions, to become master licensor for Noddy in the US

Noddy license owner Chorion has agreed a deal with US brand management company FUNimation

Productions, to become master licensor for Noddy in the US.
FUNimation licenses animated properties and content for programming and home videos and has

agreed a takeover by publisher and distributor Navarre expected to complete by May 2005.

The FUNimation deal is a major step forward in Chorion?s plan to bring the Noddy franchise

to other areas of the US market, to build on the launch of its animated series Make Way for

Noddy in July.

Chorion chief executive Nicholas James said: "We are very excited to be working with

FUNimation, a company that has the brand management, distribution and licensing experience

to successfully introduce Noddy to millions of American children and parents."
