US: Kidrobot strikes Simpsons deal

Firm links with Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products again for new mini-figure series.

The Simpsons series two - vinyl toy mini-figures features two alternate versions of the TV family and 15 new characters including extended family members and barflies.

Kidrobot’s The Simpsons mini series two includes Mariachi Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie; Zombie Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie; Sideshow Mel; Carl Carlson; Selma and Patty Bouvier; Lenny Leonard; Milhouse Van Houten; Dr. Nick Riviera M.D.; Otto Mann; One armed Herman; Moe Szyslak; Hans Moleman; Groundskeeper Willie; Captain Horatio McCallister and two mystery figures.

With 25 new figures in total, series 2 will be the biggest Kidrobot-produced mini-figure series to date. Each vinyl figure stands three-inches tall, includes a character sticker, and comes blind boxed to preserve its identity.

Figures will be sold separately (or can be purchased by the case) for $9.95 at all five Kidrobot stores, kidrobot.com and at select retailers worldwide alongside the first Simpsons series 1.
