Build-A-Bear Workshop is re-launching its Build-A-Party initiative allowing kids to book private in-store parties.

And taking personalization to the next level, the retailer has teamed with custom video creator PercyVites to offer fans and youngsters a raft of in-store personalised digital offerings.

PercyVites is a video personalization platform that allows youngsters to immerse themselves into the worlds of their favourite characters, by inserting their own pictures, party details and messages into fun video clips.

Kids can address these clips to each friend or family member, with product offering focusing on online party invitations and thank you videos.

Launching in Build-A-Bear Workshops stores across the US this October, guests will now be able to use PercyVites invitations and thank you videos on the retailer’s new Build-A-Party website.

“The convenience of our digital party planning tools presents a great opportunity to embed our platform into others’ sites and reach new audiences,” said Julie Steiner, founder and CEO of PercyVites.

“Expanding our portfolio and partnering with Build-A-Bear Workshop allows PercyVites to broaden the reach of our digital party invitations and thank you notes to a whole new audience.”

Gina Collins, chief marketing officer, Build-A-Bear Workshop, added: “We are excited to re-launch our Build-A-Party website and offer our guests access to PercyVites.

“The fun and innovative personalization features of PercyVites will help our guests plan, manage an invite people to their parties in a whole new way.”
