Upper Deck wins German Nikko distrbution

Resurgent Upper Deck International has won the distribution rights to Nikko RC lines in Germany and Austria.

The deal commences from January 21st 2011. Upper Deck will be stocking new lines for 2011 such as J-kart (pictured) and a complete range of vehicles based on the upcoming film Fast & Furious 5.

Nikko Pro Line is a premium RC line, with licenses such as the Porsche 911 GT3RS. The vehicles have gear differentials, suspensions, digital proportional controls and a quick charging system.

The range will be supported with year-round TV, POS, in-store video and tailor-made promotions.

 Jeroen Bakker, president of Nikko Entertainment said: "With their excellent distribution channels and market knowledge, Upper Deck is the natural choice as
distributor of Nikko products in Germany and Austria. We are confident that their expertise and solid track record of bringing the hottest brands to market will ensure that Upper Deck does whatever it needs to take the Nikko brand up to a market share we are used to in Europe."
