University Games is staging a two-hour takeover of Board Game Club in order to showcase it’s top selling board game, Pointless.

Returning to the Cellar Bar at Every Hotel, Piccadilly on Thursday, September 17th, the Club will play host to multiple tables of Pointless game-play between 6pm and 8pm, before descending into a regular Board Game Club boasting a mix of new and vintage games for face-to-face games fans.

“We’re really excited to be hosting this Pointless takeover for University Games,” said Board Game Club co-founder, Lesley Singleton.

“It’s further evidence that brands are seeing the value of tapping into our nights and using them as platforms to showcase great games such as Pointless.

"We’re fortunate enough to be working with some fantastic venues this year, meaning that we can offer games companies bespoke branded corporate events and launches set against the established, fun and sociable Board Game Club backdrop.”

University Games’ sales and marketing manager, Sharon Fosbery, added: “We are delighted to be teaming up with Board Game Club – a perfect platform to showcase the new 2015 version of Pointless.

"The addition of a brand new app so players can have the infamous electronic scoreboard on their tablet or smartphone should appeal to this crowd of gaming grown ups”.

Guests at the Pointless launch will be treated to themed cocktails, nibbles and spot prizes during the exclusive two-hour take-over.
