UK Games Expo Award winners announced

Coiled Spring and Pants on Fire Games among the winners.

The annual accolades were dished out at the UK Games Expo over the weekend.

Coiled Spring took the Best Abstract Game award and MD, Roger Martin (pictured receiving his award), commented:

"UK Games Expo went really, really well for us. Cubulus won ‘best abstract game’. The innovative design, simple rules and clever gameplay impressed the judges.

"We had people queuing up to play it. Along with Flip Out and Ligretto, Cubulus was the hit of the Expo."

Best Family Game - Kingbrick, Kingbrick

Best Roleplaying Game
- All For One RPG, Triple Ace Games

Best Stand
- Triple Ace Games

Special Awards:

Beast of Burden: To Scott Hughes for huge amounts of "humping and dumping" the moving of heavy tables and boards in vast quantity.

"I only did all this to get this yellow T-Shirt" to Richard Law who ran roleplaying games for kids all weekend.
