Administrators have sold TJ Hughes stores in Widnes and Newcastle.
Last week, administrators for the discount department store chain announced closure dates for 22 locations, with 31 to continue trading surplus stock.
134 employees will keep their jobs as a result of the purchase.
Ernst & Young administrator, Tom Jack, said: "We are delighted to have completed another deal, which protects further jobs across the North and brings the total number of jobs saved to 576."
It is unclear whether the stores will retain the TJ Hughes name, or be rebranded by Lewis' Home Retail.
