Treasure Trove grabs Safari

Safari has appointed Treasure Trove as exclusive distributor for the UK and Ireland.
Publish date:

Safari is the largest manufacturer of replica animals in the US. Treasure Trove will be marketing the range with immediate effect and is looking forward to discussing business development with existing and potential customers of the product.

Alexandre Pariente, head of International sales for Safari said: “We are delighted to be joining forces with Treasure Trove, following a couple of years of successful trading with their sister company Education Essentials in the education sector.

"Treasure Trove’s reputation and distribution means that we know our product line is in safe hands. I also want to thank Toyway, for their previous efforts on our behalf and, in particular Jim Andrews, for the professional way he has handled the transfer so quickly and efficiently.”

Robin Bennett, MD Treasure Trove Toys and owner of Education Essentials added: “This is such a solid move for Treasure Trove putting the company firmly at the forefront of the collectible animal category following last year’s appointment as the exclusive distributor for the UK and Ireland for Breyer.”

Bennett continued: “We feel we have new ideas to bring to the table and recognise the challenges as well as the opportunities that this move represents. Strategically this greatly supports our current focus of delivering low price points, which give our customers strong year round sales.”

Treasure Trove also expects to make further announcements in the coming months.

The Safari range and all Treasure Trove brands will be exhibited to the trade at Play-room at The Park, April 21st - 22nd and the Toymaster show in Harrogate May 19th – 21st. A wide range of Safari stock will be available for immediate delivery.
