Woodland Leisure manufactures a range of wooden outdoor activity play equipment including wooden swings, climbing frames, sandpits and seesaws connected using heavy duty plastic mouldings.

Dominic Lewis Barclay, sales and marketing director at TP outlined the firm's plans to expand the business, saying: "The Woodland range will add a new dimension to our wooden play range by introducing entirely new lines to our selection. It’s a great opportunity to affirm our position as the leading brand in large outdoor toys."

The Woodland Leisure business will continue to operate out of its factory in Stourbridge during this current season to ensure an uninterrupted supply of product to existing customers. It is envisaged that the business will be fully consolidated into TP by September 2007.

Lewis Barclay added: "We are delighted to welcome the employees of Woodland Leisure to TP and look forward to a great future together designing and making even more fun frames in wood."
