ToyTalk is gearing up for its fourth annual awards.

First held in 2009, the awards have been steadily building in profile, and attract entries from some of the biggest companies in the business.

The entry period closes on September 14th, with the results set to be revealed online on October 12th. Last year, a total of 62 accolades were handed out across 20 categories. Winners included Mattel, Spin Master and Flair.

"Last year was our most competitive awards yet, but we expect even more entries this year," editor David Smith commented. "It's been great to watch the awards gradullay increase in importance and attract ever more entries. We're seeing the ToyTalk Awards logo on more and more catalogues, press releases and websites and that's extremely gratifying.

"We welcome entries from start ups and toy giants alike, and many small companies have beaten the odds to win awards."
