Toymaster stores get Turtled-up for early toy launch

Three Toymaster shops experienced Turtle Power in an exclusive early toy launch last weekend.

Three Toymaster stores – Starlings Toymaster in Bury St Edmunds, Howleys in Weymouth and Toy Planet in Derby – got to launch the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toy line a week early.

The toys will officially be available on December 1st, but 11 selected stores - including the Toymasters - had the action figures and play-sets on sale last weekend.

As part of the promotion Turtle fans could get their hands on a special limited edition Night Shadow Leonardo figure.

John Starling of Starlings Toymaster in Bury St Edmunds said: “We opened at 7.30am and challenged kids to dress up as Turtles. he best ones were entered to be in with the chance of winning the the limited edition Leos. The competition whent down very well, and great fun was had by all.”

Howleys Toymaster sold its limited edition Leondardo figures on a first come first serve basis. Ian Moore, owner, said: "We also held a childs fancy dress competition, a raffle, and gave away other various goodies including face masks, balloons, keyrings and t-shirts throughout the day. Toby Toymaster made several appearances throughout the day for photos.

"Prior to the event it had been promoted in our local newspaper, local radio, in store and on our social media platforms so it turned out to be a great day.”
