What will you be showcasing at this year’s Toymaster event?

Ten per cent off orders for new game 6 SUITS – The Playing Cards Revolution, where you can play all your favourite card games and more in a fun new way. With 6 suits of 9 cards - It’s a playing cards revolution as the Royal Court has been thrown out. No new rules to learn as you spice up classic card games - Rummy, Poker, Brag, Crazy 8s, Cheat, President, Hearts, Trumps, 7s, Snap, Solitaire, etc, etc, Also includes 3 new 6 suit specific games -Game Changer, 999 and Cross Out!

There will also be five per cent off orders placed for all our other games including top sellers Who Knows Where, Ski Run, Mapominoes, Backpacker and Frenzi.

Why is it an important show for you?

Our games like Who Knows Where, Mapominoes, Backpacker, Frenzi and Ski Run are proven top sellers in leading retailers like John Lewis, Waterstones, Easons, WH Smith and Hamleys and the Toymaster show is very important for finding new customers and helping take these proven top sellers and new lines to the independents.

How important are the independent retailers to your business?

Very important and we recognise that by supporting them in store with promotional material and sales aids? We also have free delivery on a low order of just £130 or more and discounts available at the show for both existing and new customers to encourage them to place a first order.

How has business been for Wild Card Games this past year?

Our retail sales have increased every year for 8 years in a row. We had another great year in 2016, selling over 60,000 games in the UK

What ambitions do you have for the company this year and beyond?

Recruiting more independents, Launching Apps for our best sellers, cracking the USA market.
