The deal with Chorion will see Ravensburger launch a giant floor puzzle and a set of three in a box puzzles based on the new pre-school series, with more launches planned for 2012.
Managing director Tim Hall commented: “We are already clear market leader within the licensed puzzle market and we’re sure that Octonauts will contribute to our retaining this position in the future.
"We’re really delighted to be working with Chorion on such an exciting pre-school series. There’s already a lot of demand for Octonauts products from consumers, so we anticipate it will quickly establish itself in the market as a real favourite with youngsters and their parents."
The Octonauts follows a team of adventure heroes who dive into action whenever there is trouble under the sea. In a fleet of aquatic vehicles, they rescue sea creatures, explore new underwater worlds and often save the day before returning safely home.
