Toy Trust makes GOSH pledge

The Toy Trust has awarded its single largest grant to Great Ormond Street Hospital’s Tick Tock Club, committing £75,000 over three years.
Publish date:

The Tick Tock Club is seeking to raise £10 million towards a new purpose-built heart and lung centre for children. The new centre will replace the current ageing wards that are no longer suitable for the pioneering treatments being carried out by the hospital’s cardio-respiratory teams.

“We were so impressed by the ground-breaking, life-saving children’s heart and lung operations being conducted at Great Ormond Street that it seemed a very natural choice for the Toy Trust to become a member of the Tick Tock Club,” said Robert Mann, chairman of The Toy Trust Committee.

“By playing a part in Great Ormond Street’s heart and lung redevelopment programme we really feel that our money is being put to great use and is helping to save young lives.”

Since its foundation in 1990, The Toy Trust has made a real difference to over a million children and their families in the UK and across the world, awarding over £2 million to date.
