Toy Marketing Academy kicks off on November 2nd

Industry event will help firms build toy brands; early bird tickets available at cut price.

A special one-off toy marketing day will run next month, hosted by industry veteran, consultant and Big Play Day organiser Steve Reece.

The Friday, November 2nd event will help toy companies build their own brands.

Titled ‘Toy Marketing Academy: How to Build Toy Brands – Escaping the Toy Industry Treadmill’, the one-day workshop-style course will:

•Cover the basics of brand building and brand management including brand identity, positioning, competitive differentiation and more

•Supply easy to understand but valuable tools that will enable you to build your own robust and actionable brand plans

•Look at advanced strategies for building brand equity

•Look at how marketing works from a brand management perspective

•Cover how to maximise brand building impact of packaging

•Give you the opportunity to create your own brand plans on the day, and take away new understanding and tools to enable you to create your own brand plans for all new launches going forwards

Early bird tickets are available for £197 (+VAT) until seven days before the event, after which time the price will go up to £397 plus VAT.

Reece told ToyNews: “There are lots of highly theoretical general marketing training courses out there, but we wanted to create a quick and easy format focused specifically on brands within our industry, with relevant case studies, and a very practical and usable output.”
