The organisers of the Lollibop kids' festival are urging "leading children's characters and toy companies" to get involved again this year.

Lollibop will take place at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London in 2013.

The family event will grow in capacity to include 45,000 visitors, after selling out at Regent's Park in 2012 with 30,000 visitors.

Lollibop 2013 will run on August 16th, 17th and 18th. It's billed as the only festival where all the activity is programmed for children under ten years old. Headline acts are still to be announced.

Event Manager Jenny Kane said: "We are really excited to be taking LolliBop to the iconic Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. This is the first children’s event to take place in what looks set to become one of the premier event locations in the UK."
