Toy firms up for Licensing gongs

A host of toy companies are up for honours at this week's Licensing Awards.

The event organised by Max Publishing - takes place on Thursday September 13th at The Royal Lancaster Hotel, London.

Within the 'product' category, Smiffy's (Little Britain dress-up), Rubie's (Scooby-Doo dress-up), Golden Bear (Shaun the Sheep plush), Mattel (Tickle Me Elmo), Lego, (Star Wars II video game), Vtech (Winnie the Pooh interactive range), Drumond Park (Deal or No Deal games), Bandai (Ben 10), Tomy (Nintendogs) and Hasbro (Spiderman 3 toys) are amongst the nominees battling it out for the various awards.

The finalists in each category will appear in the July 2007 Brand and Sport Licensing Source Book, as well as the autumn edition of the Licensing Source Book.
