The finalists have been revealed for The Licensing Awards 2012 – and several toy companies are in the running.

Shortlisted companies include Smiffy's, Rubie's and Amscan, who are up for an award in the Best Licensed Dress-up or Partyware Range.

Hornby and Cheatwell Games have been nominated for The Innovation Award, while other nominees in different categories include InspirationWorks, Aurora World and Vivid and more.

This year's event will take place on September 11th in The Great Room at London's Grosvenor House Hotel. Over 1,300 retailers, licensees, licensors and licensing industry professionals are expected to attend.
