Toy firms head to Moscow

This year's Toy Russia fair has sold 68 per cent more exhibitors, with visitor numbers also expected to rise

Some 249 companies are exhibiting at the Russian toy fair in the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center (pictured) from 16th–18th March, which is 68 per cent more than the 148 exhibitors last year.

Organiser RNTA Expo registered 6,273 visitors at the last fair, a rise of 25 per cent. RNTA Expo is a joint subsidiary of Spielwarenmesse and the Russian National Toy Association, RNTA.

The Nuremberg fair and marketing services provider offers toy manufacturers a package for exhibiting at the Russian toy fair in its World of Toys by Spielwarenmesse Pavilion.

Some 14 companies from eight countries have taken up the offer and are exhibiting at Toy Russia including Germany's Dragon Toys, Mertens and Peter Bausch; Globe Trotoys/VS Trade and Juratoys S.A.S from France; Simnex Industrial and Winfat Industrial from Hong Kong; Italy's Dynit and Gonzagarredi and Spain's Ibanez Yerpes.
