After announcing its distribution deal for Plan Toys last year, Great Gizmos has unveiled a new eco-toy concept at Toy Fair today – Planwood.

Planwood is a compressed wood that is made entirely from sawdust and held together with only 10 per cent of eco-friendly glue.

As with other Plan toys only natural dyes are used to colour the wood.

Judith Dayus, director of Great Gizmos commented: “Wooden toys have been around for generations and it’s fair to say that Plan Toys is a leader in the field of environmentally friendly products. But this new collection has to be experienced first-hand as the shapes created and the vibrancy of the colours really sets the brand aside.”
