Exhibitor space for toy Fair 2018 is now sold out, four months ahead of the show’s opening on January 23rd.
The BTHA made the announcement this week that show space is now filled, reflecting the ‘huge demand among the toy industry at the moment.’
As the UK’s largest toy, game and hobby trade show, Toy Fair 2018 will be looking to emulate the success of last year’s event, which attracted more than 250 companies.
“It’s an exciting time for toy innovation,” said Majen Immink, director of fairs and special events at the BTHA.
“With toy Fair selling out this early, it shows there is huge demand in the toy industry at the moment. I am looking forward to seeing the products set to be launched in January.”
More than 100 exhibiting companies at Toy Fair this year will be returning exhibitors. One such company will be Clementoni.
“Toy Fair is an extremely important show for us and we are looking forward to meeting both new and existing colleagues across the three days,” said Shahbaz Khan, country manager, Clementoni.
“We are excited to return to toy Fair and to reflect the growth of the business and the investment we are making into the Clementoni brand for the UK, we have a much bigger stand and so much more product to reveal for launch in 2018.”
The BTHA has also announced the new toy showcase for Toy Fair 2018: toy Fair Heroes. The new initiative will highlight exceptional toys across all categoires. The top 25 toys at Toy Fair will be selected by toy experts and the BTHA and will make up the new Toy Fair Heroes.
The winners in each category will be announced on the opening morning of the show while the showcase will take centre stage at the front of the press office.
