TOY FAIR 2011: DKL takes on mic.o.mic range

DKL has added plastic construction range mic.o.mic to its line-up for Toy Fair.
Publish date:

Mic.o.mic is a range of ABS plastic construction toys linked by a clip and pin system. The finished mic.o.mic product makes a colourful vehicle, with models including planes, cars, boats and more.

DKL MD, Kai Hawaleschka, said: "After another successful year it is our goal to grow the quality brands we distribute and mic.o.mic fits the quality and value criteria perfectly. I know that mic.o.mic has been in the UK before but it is now a completely new range with a new owner, new manufacturing base and great new concepts."

Joachim Schafer, MD of mic.o.mic, added: "The UK market is very important for mic.o.mic, and I am delighted to have joined with DKL Marketing to distribute our products."

DKL is launching the full mic.o.mic range at Toy Fair on stand E66 and at the NEC Spring Fair in Hall 5 Stand C38.

Buoyed by a TRA special recognition award this year and the continued success of its Hama Beads creative line, DKL is expecting further growth in 2007 with its Corolle dolls, Viking plastic toys and Wonderworld wood ranges. Ronnie Dungan speaks to MD Kai Hawaleschka about its steady progress?
