Tow truck driver builds life-size Tonka Mighty Wrecker

Vehicle is 12 times the size of its toy original

Brad Doane, a tow truck driver from Wisconsin, has created a life-size Tonka truck, and it actually drives.

Doane discovered a drive train in an 1984 Chevy pickup he had bought, before taking a year to weld the steel into the shape of a Tonka truck.

The vehicle is 12 times the size of its toy original, and sits at 16 foot long, 10 foot tall and weighs two tons.

The truck will take part in the Spirit of the Lakes parade held in Mound, the home of Tonka Toys.
