Topps enjoys strong sales for Rugby Attax ahead of World Cup

With the build up to England 2015, ruby fever is sweeping the nation and early sales indications from Topps reveals Rugby Attax is the number one best-selling collectible product for a number of retail groups.

Children across the UK have been getting their hands on the latest collection featuring all the England rugby players, along with exclusive legends like Jonah Lomu and Jonny Wilkinson.

Rod Pearson, marketing director for Topps, commented: “We have experienced strong sales of our Rugby Match Attax trading cards in the build-up to this year’s biggest rugby sporting event, and are anticipating that this will continue throughout the tournament as we know that typically the better the home nations perform, the better sales we will see. It’s great to see so many young people being introduced to rugby, some for the first time, and using the cards to get ahead of the game before the tournament officially starts.”

There are over 240 cards to collect with Starter Packs retailing at £4.99, packets of nine cards at £1 and multipacks of 5 packets, including a Limited Edition, at £5.
