Timeless Toys owner in line for local business award

Police officer turned toy shop owner Beth France has been nominated as the Young Entrepreneur of the Year by her local council in Lancashire. She will find out if she has won a Pendle Council Business award later this week.

France gave up her job with the police service to start Timeless Toys - a local shop and website specialising in wooden toys.

Speaking to ToyNews, France said: "It's nice to be able to share my love of wooden toys with people and a big thank you to Theo Paphitis - a springboard to the masses."

The nomination has also secured France a mention in the London Metro newspaper:
