European retail outfit Tiger has opened its first store in Glasgow.

Located on Sauchiehall Street, the new branch is the firm’s third store in Scotland, and now has more than 120 branches across 16 European countries.

The store has been signed on a ten-year lease, and has a size of 2,674 sq. ft.

The branch is located on a high street consisting of other stores such as Waterstones, M&S, Boots, Primark and New Look.

“We are confident that Glaswegian shoppers will take to this exciting new brand opening in the city, Tiger’s third store in Scotland following openings in Livingston and Dunfermline earlier in the year,” said Jones Lang LaSalle Glasgow director David Simmons.

“Tiger’s eye catching fit-out style and product will be showcased perfectly in such a prominent corner unit and there are few busier retail thorough-fares in the UK than Sauchiehall Street so there seems little doubt the store will be a huge success.”
