Gift and gadget developer Thumbs Up is expanding into Eastern Europe with the opening of a Warsaw office.

The new distribution hub will stock the firm's full catalogue of products and will be responsible for operations in Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Thumbs Up has seen rapid expansion over the last two years, with new distribution offices opening in Europe, Brazil, Australia and the UAE. A base in Istanbul also opened back in May.

"We're very much looking forward to working with Marcin Dzus and his team in Poland," said Wojtek Kolan, head of business development at Thumbs Up. "The company has had strong ties with the Polish market for many years and we're excited about the opportunities that an office in Warsaw will open up.

"We're confident the move will benefit both the gift and gadgets industry in the region and, of course, provide Thumbs Up with a market hungry for inventive products."
