Gift and gadget firm Thumbs Up is expanding one of its original European offices.

The distribution hub in Troisdorf, which current supplies Germany and France with the firm's full catalogue of products, will now be extending its operations to include orders from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia.

"We have recently taken an increase in enquiries from other European retailers about the viability of stocking Thumbs Up gifts and gadgets," said Pascal Reuter, product manager at Thumbs Up Germany. "And as both online and High Street retailers are looking to increase the range of goods they can supply their customers, it made sense to increase our distribution responsibilities to include more countries in the region.

"The move will benefit everyone as freight and handling time and cost is drastically reduced."
