The Toy Verdict Awards 2015 now open for entries

TheToyVerdict.com, a leading toy review service operated by Kids Brand Insight, has revealed that entry to The Toy Verdict Awards 2015 is now open.

The awards will be judged using the same proprietary qualitative research techniques the firm uses in professional market research testing.

“Toy marketing has changed beyond compare in the last few years, we’ve gone from TV advertising being the sales driver to TV being heavily supported by online reviews and product endorsements," Steve Reece, CEO of Kids Brand Insight, told ToyNews.

"In fact, research shows that the majority of toy sales nowadays are influenced by online ‘word of mouth’. We also know that winning awards increases sales of toys and other related products, even though the cost of this kind of marketing is far lower than traditional TV campaigns.

"Obviously though we can only judge products which are entered, so you have to be ‘in it to win it’. Also we need to point out that due to the robust nature of testing and the time consuming nature of this process we have limited review capacity, we will review entries on a first come, first served basis, so we encourage early entry to avoid disappointment should capacity become strained."
