The Toy Trust needs you

The Toy Trust is already looking for riders and teams to commit to this year's Big Bike Ride, which takes place in May.

Last year's ride raised more than £80,000 for the charity. To date nine companies have committed to take part including Tomy, RC2, Flair, Spinmaster, Character Options, Vivid, Hasbro, Mattel and Halsall. The Trust is hoping to get 20 teams to participate.

Riders do not have to do a leg in isolation and can team up with another company. Only one rider is required to complete the distance or eight riders to share 10 miles each.

Bike Ride heads for home straight

Teams of riders from Flair, PR firm Norton & Co, Treasure Trove and Leapfrog are on the road for the Big Kids Bike Ride today, taking the ride as far as Churchill near Bristol in readiness for the final leg tomorrow.
