The In Thing has secured the exclusive rights to distribute Uglydolls in the UK and Ireland after Gund was named the new plush manufacturer for the brand.

The In Thing has been selling Uglydoll products for over five years already. Now the company's main focus will be on the Uglydoll Classics, Little Uglys, Clip-Ons, Uglypillow and the brand new Uglybuddies.

Paul Jackson, MD at The In Thing, said: “We’re thrilled to be stepping up the Uglydoll brand to a new level. The Uglybuddies join the rest of the Uglydoll family, in what we predict will be a wonderful year for the whole range.

“With an intense digital marketing campaign planned around the brand this autumn, we’re confident Uglydoll will prove to be one of our most successful lines to date.”

Uglydoll is yet to achieve the same success in the UK and Ireland that it has in international markets, but that could change with when the planned Uglydoll movie reaches cinemas.
