A collection of Lord of the Rings Wrebbit 3D puzzles will hit shelves in time for the release of The Hobbit movie.
Coiledspring Games will work on a new line of puzzles based on the world of the Hobbits this autumn. The upcoming film screens in UK cinemas on December 14th.
The company has already released the 400-piece Saruman’s Orthanc Tower, 700-piece Edoras Golden Hall and 815-piece Minas Tirith Citadel Lord of the Rings puzzles. They are made from ‘special high-tech foam’ and can stand alone without the need for glue.
The products have RRPs between £20 and £40, and stockists already on board include Amazon and local jigsaw retailers.
Coiledspring Games director Roger Martin said: “We are delighted with The Lord of the Rings 3D jigsaws and are sure they will be enormously popular, especially in the run up to the much anticipated first prequel film The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.
“More importantly, we hope families really enjoy working together to build these wonderful puzzles.”
Coiledspring has been making 3D jigsaw puzzles for more than 20 years, including iconic puzzles like Big Ben and the Taj Mahal.
