The Gadget Show used the Dancing Cat Speakers – cuddly cats which dance to music players – to test out different brands of rechargeable battery.

"Having one of our products on The Gadget Show provides great exposure for us," said Wojtek Kolan, co-founder of Thumbs Up and a fan of the show.

"We expect to see a surge in sales following the feature."

Each cat speaker was loaded with a different rechargeable battery. Eventually the GP 2500 brand lasted the longest, but the Duracell Supreme came out on top, providing the best value for money at 30p per hour.

Fan-catstic! The Dancing Cat Speakers line up with Gadget Show presenter Pollyanna Woodward.

Kolan added: "I thoroughly enjoyed watching the Dancing Cat Speakers on The Gadget Show last night. It was a really fun feature and the show had dressed our furry friends in some Christmas outfits, which definitely added a spot of festive cheer. I was really impressed with how long some of the cats kept dancing for."
