Grocer Tesco has launched its 'biggest ever' toy sale.

The sale kicked off last week and will run until October 31st. It will run in stores and online, and is backed by a massive marketing campaign.

"A lot of high-profile advertising will kick off from Wednesday," a Tesco spokesperson told ToyNews.

This encompasses radio, TV, newspaper and online ads.

Sale items include the Fisher-Price Princess Ride-On, which is £15 (down from £25) and the Peppa Pig Shopping Playset. The latter is priced at £19.97, down from £40.

You can view other products in the sale on the Tesco Direct website.

The supermarket is also offering £10 off when consumers spend £75 or more with Tesco Direct online.

Tesco cut up to 75 per cent off certain toys in a separate sale last month.
