SweetDreamers, the firm behind the popular Ewan the Dream Sheep, has revealed its latest product, Russell the Dream Sheepdog.

And while the new sleeping aid is not set to hit retailers for a number of weeks, the dog has already made the shortlist in the BANTA Awards.

Featuring a softly changing colour therapy light show and personalised recording facility, Russell the Dream Sheepdog is designed to help toddlers beat any fear of the dark.

The product will be officially unveiled at the Harrogate International Nursery Fair.

Lynda Harding, founder of SweetDreamers, said: “I am just over the moon that our little Russell has already been nominated for such a prestigious award.

“The success of our first product, Ewan the Dream Sheep, has been overwhelming and there is no better way for Russell to enter the industry than this nomination.

“Ewan has worked his magic for babies across the world, now we are looking forward to sending Russell out to bring the same comfort to toddlers.”
