Key names such as Mattel, Character Options, Hasbro, Vivid and Tomy, among others, will be making the trip to Cranmore Park in Shirley, Solihull for the fourth Play-room at the Park show, which takes place later this month.
The trade event – which is specifically designed for independent toy retailers, department stores and garden centres which sell toys – is open on April 24th and 25th.
To date, 64 suppliers have signed up to showcase products for autumn and Christmas 2012. As well as those already mentioned, these include Bigjigs, Bladez Toys, Cartamundi, Coiledspring Games, DKL, Esdevium, Flair, Fiesta Crafts, Golden Bear, Jakks, MGA, MV Sports, Mookie, Playmobil, Ravensburger, Re:creation, Spin Master, VTech and Worlds Apart.
“Play-room at the Park is part of a well-oiled machine which brings must-have and desirable brands over many product sectors to independent retailers across the UK and Ireland, with excellent trading terms and in a comfortable but business-like atmosphere,” said Miles Penhallow, manager of the toy division at Play-room. “Part of the package for all visiting buyers is free entry and parking, coffee and tea and a hot or salad lunch.
“In short, the Cranmore Park Exhibition Centre is designed for buyers to do their job comfortably and efficiently. For buyers, there is no better venue in the UK.”
