Hitchin-based firm The Puppet Company has carved itself a healthy niche in toy shops, gift stores adn garden centres with its pick up and play range of hand and finger puppets.

Like many companies in the toy market, The Puppet Co. started as very much a cottage industry fulfilling a particular personal need, rather than as a get rich quick scheme.
