Studio Anne Carlton (SAC), the Hull-based classic games specialist, has relaunched Supercast with a new range of generic collectables, historic characters and chess sets.

In 2012 SAC plans to develop Supercast further by partnering with the top children’s licences and expanding into the tourist and souvenir sectors.

Supercast was founded in Hull in the '70s and developed into a recognised brand across the globe under the ownership of Airfix/Humbrol in the '90s.

SAC managing director, Michael Lee, said: “The re-launch of Supercast presents the most exciting opportunity to recreate one of the toy and hobby sector’s most iconic brands and SAC is thrilled to be able to adapt and update the brand for the 21st Century.”
