High-end German plush specialist, Steiff is celebrating Hello Kitty’s 40th anniversary with its first collectable based on the iconic kitten.

Made with soft mohair and featuring its own mini teddy bear, the Steiff Hello Kitty retails for $260.

Standing at nine inches tall, Hello Kitty features a moveable head and comes packaged inside a Steiff Paperboard box and includes a Steiff Certificate of Authenticity.

While it’s princely sum may leave Hello Kitty fans feeling a bit light in the wallet, the Steiff Hello Kitty plush is still only half the price of the $500 Godzilla, currently in development.
