Online community Stardoll has just hit a 200 million user milestone.

The site for young women launched in 2006 and is now available in 28 languages, on mobile and on Facebook.

Stardoll Media has been affiliated with fashion and beauty brands including Miss Sixty, DKNY and L'Oreal. It recently teamed up with Harrods for a shopping experience based on its premium virtual environment.

Stephen Molloy, SVP of Stardoll Media, commented: "Reaching the 200 million milestones is an incredible achievement and something we are hugely proud of.

"We are committed to providing safe and engaging experiences across multiple platforms where young people have fun and, design and make friends with like minded creative people from all over the world."
