Spring Fair International is stepping up its International Hosted Buyer Programme for the 2013 event.

The programme - which launched this year - has been implemented to ensure that the most influential retailers from around the world have an opportunity to source from Spring Fair, as well as boosting the number of international visitors attending the show.

Key department store buyers from Europe, Russia and the US who have been invited to participate are required to make a certain number of appointments with exhibitors. In return, the programme offers travel and accommodation expenses, plus a number of useful networking events during the show.

To achieve a Hosted Buyer status, buyers have to meet a number of specific criteria and must also be nominated by international associations or Spring Fair exhibitors.
