The bear-making product was chosen from the seven category winners as the best toy of 2006. It allows you to make your own teddy bear at home with a crank of a handle which fills up a soft bear skin with fluffy fibre to make a cuddly bear. .

Christian O’Connell, chair of judges, (pictured with Spin Master's Kevin Jones and Annette Harrison) commented: "I'm made up for Li’l Luvables. As soon as I saw it I loved it. Which is a bit odd as it’s for young girls. It's great fun and going to be the must have toy for girls this Christmas. I have not stopped playing with mine which I have on my desk at work. It’s also well priced and not for rich kids only. A well deserved winner.”

Li’l Luvables Fluffy Factory contains three Bear skins, fluffing fibre, three adoption certificates, one safety zipper Key, one Fluffing Stuffing Tool and Li’l Wishes.

Nick Mather, CEO of Hamleys, added: “Li’l Luvables Fluffy Factory is a great inter-active toy and enables children to get immense fun and satisfaction from making something for themselves. As an authority on the finest toys in the world, Hamleys are delighted to showcase this winner and continue to promote the value of play.”
